What is an Ocean Rock Partner?

Everyone is welcome at Ocean Rock Church. Whether you're new to faith, returning after some time away, or growing deeper in your walk with Jesus, you belong here.

Partnership is a personal commitment to say:

“I’m in. This is my church, and I’m here to grow, serve, and walk with others.” While some churches use the term “member,” we believe Partner better reflects the kind of relationship we’re building—a shared journey of following Jesus, living with purpose, and loving one another in community.

Why am I invited to be a Partner at ORC?

Ocean Rock is a congregation-led church, meaning big decisions aren’t made from the top down—we make them together.

As a Partner, you’re invited to:

Be part of a spiritual family that knows you, values you, and walks with you. Have a voice and vote in key church decisions and leadership confirmations. Join a culture of kindness, belonging, and transformation—where there’s space for your gifts, your growth, and your story. This is your home. You belong here.

What is expected of me?

Partnership isn’t about perfection—it’s about participation. You’ll find the full outline in our [Partnership Agreement], which includes our core beliefs, mission, and shared values.

As a Partner, we ask that you:

• Follow Jesus as Lord and continue growing in your faith.

• Live out our mission—connecting people to Jesus.

• Support the church through prayer, serving, generosity, and presence.

• Walk in step with our values: grace, truth, authenticity, diversity, and mission.

No matter where you are on your journey, you’re invited to take this step.

How do I become a Partner?

Simple.

Read through the [Partnership Agreement], take time to pray and reflect, and if you're ready, submit the online Partnership Form linked below.

We’ll follow up personally to celebrate this step with you and help you get connected.

Is this commitment forever?

Nope. Life changes. Seasons shift. That’s why Partnership at ORC is a two-year commitment, with the opportunity to renew every two years.

If at any point you need to step away from Partnership, just let us know by having a conversation with Pastor Nehemiah or sending us a quick email. We’ll walk with you through it.
